Many women I consult for absolutely love their perfumes. They may have multiple bottles cluttering bathroom shelves or the dresser in their bedroom. While many of the perfume bottles are aesthetically pleasing, the clutter of having so many distracts from the beauty.
These tips will help you cut the clutter and display your favorite scents so they look as good as they smell.
1 - Get rid of older perfumes - Perfumes can last anywhere from a year to three or four years (for better brands.) You'll know a perfume has gone bad if it has an alcohol smell when you open the bottle, or if it's cloudy or discolored. You can always replace the scents you really loved, but if it's expired -- did you use it that often?
2 - Transfer “ugly” bottles to decorative perfume bottles or atomizers. - These don't have to cost a lot. You may find one you really like in a thrift shop or at a yard sale. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if you love the scent but not the bottle, you can always transfer it.
3 - Display all the perfumes you love, in containers you love, on a silver, mirrored tray. The mirrored tray gives a classy look that will really help all those beautiful bottles shine in your bedroom or bathroom.
