In Feng Shui, our surroundings can reflect our inner thoughts and life. This is why I often talk about the stories your home tells and what they reveal about where you are, where you might be stuck, and what may be holding you back from finding love, money and the life of your dreams. The reverse can also be true; changing our environment can dramatically improve our mindset and give us the energy and inspiration to make real change in our lives, attract true love, become a money magnet and more!
We can make positive Feng Shui changes in our home or apartment to create more balance in our lives. Once we feel balanced and are living an authentic life, in touch with our true-self, money, love and all we desire naturally flows toward us.
Too Much? Too Little?
Many people believe Feng Shui is all about clearing clutter -- and I'm here to tell you it's not. It's all about balance. By all means, if you surround yourself with so much stuff that the energy can't flow, it may be time to moderate that.
But, if you're a person who feels comfortable surrounded by “noise,” including things and people, a minimalist approach may be too stark, and may even stifle your energy and your true self. If this is the case, think about what you truly treasure and hang on to it, making it a focal point in the room.
About Focal Points
By definition, a focal point is the center of attention or the “focus.” Choose items that reflect your goals, your true-self and your best life to make as focal points in a room, and decorate around them. Place objects around these focal points in pairs to strengthen your relationship or find true love, or in clusters of threes for natural balance.
Remember, less may be more, but Feng Shui is all about creating a space where you feel comfortable and can thrive.
