Feng Shui Red Envelope Payment Policy
Before a Feng Shui expert imparts any mystical cure or sacred wisdom,
custom dictates that the provider of transcendental Feng Shui solutions
should receive one or more red envelopes. The red envelope must contain
money.
The ritual of the red envelopes operates on a number of levels. Red
Feng Shui Red Envelope Policy represents vitality and auspiciousness
and, like fire, can burn up all bad things. The envelope serves like an
ancient shield to protect the transmitter of secret knowledge from
absorbing the problem solved or otherwise coming to harm. This helps
the consultant from taking on your problems or the issues of the space,
especially at the level of chi.
Giving 3 or 9 red envelopes is particularly correct. The money put in
the envelope is not only symbolic but also represents the giver of the
envelope and shows respect for the tradition and appreciation for the
value of the methods being shared.
By going to the trouble of locating
or making a red envelope - any unused red envelope will do - and
presenting it to a known expert, you may open your mind to the
possibility that the expert can help you.
Clients usually make the payment in cash, because the energetic
association with cash is much stronger than a check. With a check, you
are giving a voucher that can be exchanged for money, but it is not
money itself. With that being said, it is acceptable to pay with a
check as long as some amount of cash is included with the payment.
If payment is made via credit card, it is customary to provide 3 red envelopes with $1 in each during the on-site consultation.
