How to Achieve Balance In Your Space for a Stress-Free Life

stress free life feng shui resized 600
In Feng Shui, our surroundings can reflect our inner thoughts and life. This is why I often talk about the stories your home tells and what they reveal about where you are, where you might be stuck, and what may be holding you back from finding love, money and the life of your dreams. The reverse can also be true; changing our environment can dramatically improve our mindset and give us the energy and inspiration to make real change in our lives, attract true love, become a money magnet and more!

We can make positive Feng Shui changes in our home or apartment to create more balance in our lives. Once we feel balanced and are living an authentic life, in touch with our true-self, money, love and all we desire naturally flows toward us.

Too Much? Too Little?

Many people believe Feng Shui is all about clearing clutter -- and I'm here to tell you it's not. It's all about balance. By all means, if you surround yourself with so much stuff that the energy can't flow, it may be time to moderate that.

But, if you're a person who feels comfortable surrounded by “noise,” including things and people, a minimalist approach may be too stark, and may even stifle your energy and your true self. If this is the case, think about what you truly treasure and hang on to it, making it a focal point in the room.

About Focal Points

By definition, a focal point is the center of attention or the “focus.” Choose items that reflect your goals, your true-self and your best life to make as focal points in a room, and decorate around them. Place objects around these focal points in pairs to strengthen your relationship or find true love, or in clusters of threes for natural balance.

Remember, less may be more, but Feng Shui is all about creating  a space where you feel comfortable and can thrive.

Ken, what you have said is so true. As a teen,(for some odd reason) I would keep moving objects and furniture until it "FELT RIGHT". I had never heard of Feng Shui.

Currently, I am not connected to my living space. Yes, it is saying quite a bit about me but I would like to change this. Where should I begin.

My space is cluttered but only because I live in a small place, I am a creative person and have my work spaces for doing my sewing, and jewelry and it is in my dining rm. I have to have my inspirations around me so I can see them and it gets me going creatively to see them, but also since I do have so many tools and supplies it is hard to keep them organized where I can find things when I need them. I suffer from not enough storage space. But am working on making it better. One great thing I did for my inspiration was buying a lot of really nice picture frames at a flea-market and took the pictures out and put boards covered with velvet so I can display my newest jewelery creations in them. looks much nicer then a push pin in the wall with jewelry hanging on it makes my happy to see my jewelry because it looks so nice in the display and regenerated my creativity. Now all I have to do is get the storage of my dreams to organize all supplies, the only thing stopping me is money lol.
