You know those tasks you always seem to put off? Does cleaning the refrigerator, organizing a closet or filing the piles in your office come to mind? There are good reasons we avoid doing these things – they may seem unimportant and aren’t a priority for us.

Uncompleted Tasks Carry Weight

Could those unfinished, seemingly undesirable tasks be weighing you down, distracting your focus and diverting your attention from more productive, potentially-rewarding endeavors. You may be “stuck,” which prevents forward movement.

In addition, all the annoyances that come from little improvement projects that never get done or messes that never get cleaned can irritate you on a level you may not notice consciously. Taking care of these projects so that our environment works with us, rather than against us, can bring you close to achieving your goals.

Focusing your Intention

One important goal-driving Feng Shui principle is intention. Intention is a powerful tool used to reach a desired result. Clearing those tasks from your life lets you focus your intention and what really matters.

Every completed “small” task adds up and goes into your productivity “ledger.” Feeling productive produces its own momentum. As each goal, no matter how small, is achieved you are much closer to your desired result. So, jump in and get started!
