Money CAN Grow on Trees
We all know money can’t really grow on trees, but there are specific things you can do to attract wealth and good fortune into your life. In essence, you are creating a “money tree” in your home. And you can use an actual money tree to attract fortune into your life. Remember, don't just think of wealth purely in terms of monetary gain; you also want to attract good fortune, personal growth and fulfilling relationships.
What is a Feng Shui Money Tree?
Feng Shui money trees come in two different forms -- living trees and symbolic money trees, which are often bamboo or pine trees with either gold coins or red envelopes hanging from them.
Examples of living money trees are the Malabar chestnut (Pachira Aquatic), a plant often grown in bonsai form and has shiny leaves in clusters of seven, which is considered lucky. Jade plants (Crassula Ovata) are also used as money trees. Both plants have lush, green leaves that look vibrant, which is energy that will attract wealth and prosperity.
You can use either type of plant in your space to attract wealth. These anchoring objects in your space will remind you of your intention to take actions that will enhance your pursuit of wealth and pave the way to money-making opportunities for you.
Ba Gua for Placement of your Money Tree
If you lay out the bagua over your home's floor plan, the Wealth corner will be in the left back corner if you are standing at the doorway and looking into the room. This is the best place to put your money tree. You can lay the ba gua over a single room or your entire home. If you are using a living money tree, you may decide which wealth corner to use based on the area of your home that gets good sunlight, so that the tree will thrive. Dead plants are never good Feng Shui!
