Feng Shui Basics: The First Step in Using Feng Shui to Achieve Your Goals
If you've been studying Feng Shui basics on this website for a while, you may have some pretty solid ideas about how you can proceed to change your life to find the health, wealth and happiness you seek. Or maybe you're still not sure where to begin.
The first step in using Feng Shui to achieve your goals is deciding exactly what you want. Just as it's impossible to Feng Shui your entire home or apartment in a day, you can't achieve everything you want in life overnight.
The best thing to do is to decide the one thing you really want, the one goal you want to achieve more than anything else, and place your focus there. Then, you can decide how to use Feng Shui to strengthen that area of your life.
The Feng Shui Ba Gua and Your Goals
To accomplish this, you would lay the
Feng Shui Ba Gua over your home or apartment and see which trigram corresponds to your number one goal, the thing that would bring you the most fulfillment in your life.
For instance, let's say your focus for 2011 is to amass greater wealth in order to achieve a greater sense of comfort and security. Consider what is in the back left corner of your home (the wealth trigram of the Ba Gua). What is this area of your home saying about your efforts to attract wealth?
If romance is important to you -- that's where you'll be placing your focus this year -- look at the back right corner of your home, and consider how you can improve that space so that it lends a greater sense of focus to your goal of meeting the right person in your life.
Whatever your goals, Feng Shui can help you achieve them. Feng Shui remedies exist for every situation, and there are Feng Shui basics you can use to bring you closer to any goal in life. But the first step begins with you: Set your sights on what is really important to you and what you really want to accomplish this year.
