What do you do if they are attached to you. I live ina semi-attached home and my neighbors have always been loud and inconsiderate no matter how much I talk to them. Where - can I hang a mirror if I even can?

What about the Ba Gua mirrors that are concave or convex? How do those work?

The Pa Kua mirror is a popular defense tool; however, since it has the power to harm people with the sun reflecting in it and causing burning rays it is always better to find another solution. The compass school recommends to find the compass direction for which the "poison arrow" or affliction is coming from i.e. noisy neighbors, cluttered messy yards, etc. and then placing your remedy. If the problem is coming from the front of the house use the facing direction of the home and find the compass reading of the problem - Same for the back yard. For example, if a "bad" neighbor is coming from the South direction (south is the fire element) so you would want to put a water feature like a fountain if possible or blue colors, blue flowers, blue umbrella in your porch furniture, etc. You want to use the suppressing cycle of the 5 elements to handle the problem with a remedy. Pa Kua mirrors can sometimes bounce back to you and make things much worse for you. Or the neighbor can decide to counteract to you with a mirror back at you. All is bad! You can always put your intent out for the neighbor to succeed and do well and with that said maybe they will move - more money - larger apartment. Or feng shui yourself for more success and a larger income and then you can move. Never wish anyone ill will as it will come back to you. Always keep things positive, intent, and focused. Find the direction of the problem and apply your remedies without using a harmful Pa Kua Mirror as they are dangerous and can rebound to you.

Hi, for the last two years i have been experiencing serious problems with our neighbours, a farm whose land completely surrounds us. They have been making our lives a misery and we feel powerless to do anything. I have been toying with the idea of putting some bagua mirrors up around my property to try and deflect their evil intent, i was even going to make them myself. i have been looking on the internet and there are mixed messages aboout using these mirrors. what do you think i should do?

Hi. The more I read about bagua mirrors, the more I am convinced that the symbols on the mirrors are of the greatest importance, eg. the cannon. The trigram of the south is the same symbol for Lord Shiva, who, in Hinduism, is the Great Protector, amongst other qualities. Having this symbol at the top, puts Him higher than the other symbols. I truly think that we can use the symbols we want eg lotus for love and purity, spear representing strength, will power and protection, trident also representing Lord Shiva. I can go on, but I think personal symbols have our own will and intent placed within them eg angels, or our own religious/belief system. Moreover, the trigrams are symbols representing the elements, and represent nothing, except for elments on their sides when not horizontal. I do not believe the chi reads these symbols as their intented meaning, but reads this jagged design and thereby 'mirrors' what we have placed in our environment. All is well, though as the symbol of Lord Shiva (God) is at the top, making Him the ruler of symbols placed underneath Him. Chi is intelligence and Life force and grants us our wishes and 'reads' the desires we place within and around us and 'mirrors' them back to us. When we use writing or pictures, we are telling the chi/Life/Universe/God what we desire, and by having our personal input and vibrational 'fingerprint' on the piece, we are making a demand that will be obeyed whether we like it or not. I was wondering if you have become aware of anyone experimenting with mirror designs and their subsequent effects. The inside shape of the bagua mirror is the circle, and although this is a wonderful symbol in itself, a single circle or disc in the 'helpful friends' area produces isolation. The outside shape is obviously also of value especially in the Chinese culture, but in other cultures, othe shapes have great value too. The hexagon is regarded as a protective shape. I know I have rambled on a bit here, but I am really interested in knowing your take on these matters, how experimental/open minded you are. For example, the elements are depicted mostly the same in Yantras (fire=triangle; earth=square)except for water, which is depicted almost as a horseshoe, hence the Chinese using a horseshoe. Have you ever adapted this ancient Chinese knowledge to suit your belief systems? Or created symbols you feel are superior in achieving your goals?

My opposite neighbour has a bagua mirror right outside their house directly pointing to my house for the last 6 years+, Last year I was diagnosed with cancer, had miscarriage and accident, the last year the feng shui for me was a bad year, monkey zodiac, agst Tai Sui, illness star on front door...so I couldn't not believe in feng shui after all this. What should I do with my neighbour's bagua mirror

I'm sorry to hear about your challenging and difficult year. For those that think hanging a ba gua mirror will cause harm to those opposite it don't have a good understand of the Ba Gua mirror. The Ba Gua mirror is meant to diffuse any negativity and not meant to bounce back to the area. Keep in mind there is astrology, feng shui and will that have an impact on a person's life. Don't worry about the neighbor's ba gua mirror and continue on your own path.

Our main entrance is facing NE and we are located at a dead end spot wherein in at our east side is a vacant green field, we have an annoying neighbor who built a small studio type apartment attached to our firewall which is located at SE.what could i do to deflect the negative vibes of that neighbor if we have our firewall between our house
