Bring Past Loves Back Into Your Life

living large

All of us start out on our true path. We are creative, we use our imagination, we live with pure joy in our hearts and love in our words. Along the way, we forget how to walk our path or have been conditioned not to speak unless spoken to.

Today, think about 3 things that you used to do but stopped doing for some reason or another. This reminds me of a quote from the movie the Notebook, that states, "I don't paint anymore. I used to paint all the time. I really loved it."

I find with many of my clients, they used to do many things in the past but as they became stuck or frustrated, they stopped doing what they love. Maybe it is a simple act of having plants in their home or fresh flowers displayed throughout their space. Or maybe little treats and nuts out for snacking. Or maybe it could be a travel destination or a ski trip. Or maybe a weekend routine that you used to do but no longer.

Take some time today to write down 3 things that you used to do that you loved and how you can incorporate those back into your life.

Please leave your comments below of 3 things that you will bring back into your life as I would love to hear about them.

Great question, Ken, and one I was just discussing this weekend. Very easy! When you have kids, a LOT falls by the wayside. Here are just three of MANY things in my life I'm picking up again -

1. Bicycle riding - it's too cold for my tastes to do it outside, but I have a bike on a trainer in the basement. I'm going to start with 15 minutes a day and work up. (Plenty, being pregnant!)

2. Eating healthier - Again, something I've stopped doing because of time. I need to start planning meals better.

3. Reading - Hubby bought me a bunch of great books for Christmas, and I want to take time at night to read.

1) Allow myself to look in the mirror and still see beauty instead of "negative" physical changes.

2) Meditate daily without fail.

Reestablish a more loving relationship with my husband of 44 years.

1. Fall in love with a beautiful woman. It's been a while and I've had some health concerns but it's time to climb back aboard.

2. Basketball- I used to love getting up in the predawn hours and shoot hoop.

3. Write/perform and produce music.

After my "health concerns" knocked me for a loop, it's time to resume these activities and truly enjoy myself again.

Ken, Thank you!

1. Dance or do some type of cardio daily!
2. Pass up desserts and sweet snacks.
3. Run at the Beach as many times as I can a month. I used to love to do this no matter what the weather. (Kind of tough now that I live in Brooklyn, but I'll find a way!)

I thought "love fully, dance, and write"...then I remembered a quote that I have posted that really sums it up: "You gotta DANCE like nobody's watching, DREAM like you will live forever, LIVE like you're going to die tomorrow, and LOVE like it's never going to hurt"...
