I am thankful for...

Today is a day that I am truly happy. Not all days are this euphoric experience where I just exude sunshine but these experiences seem to be multiplying. I find myself giggling to myself at times with happiness. Just smiling as I'm walking with joy.

This got me thinking about what not only I'm thankful for but to provide a forum for others to journal and share what they are thankful for.

I am thankful for my children and I am thankful for the my healthand the strength that is within me to overcome the various obstacles that come across my path in my journey of life. I am thankful for

being able to find the joy in the smallest of things on a daily basis even if my spirit is running on low. I am thankful for the lesson that I am learning in my journey so that I can be the positive force that is needed in order to prepare my children for the obstacles that they may come across in their journey. Athough I wish that my journey didn't have sooo many detours...I must admit for this life that I have right now, I would have it any other way.

I am thankful for my boyfriend, Sammy, although the term "boyfriend" does not do him justice. After 20 years in a marriage that was, quite simply, a poor fit for me, Sammy is a joy in my life that I never really believed could exist. He fits me like a glove. If ever there was an equal partnership, we have it. Early on in our relationship, I told him that I felt as if I had known him for a million years, and I think that, in some way that I don't fully understand, we do. I am thankful for my soulmate every day that we get to enjoy life together.

I am thankful for my family and friends and most of all the fact that God loves me and has opened up the universe to shower an abundance of love,wealth and opportunity to me and my loved ones. He has also put a protective sheath around us that will continue to protect us
