Gratitude

Many times throughout the day our mind can start to focus on things that we are fearful of or that we don't want and then exaggerate it by putting our focus and attention towards it. How many times throughout the day do you complain at work to your co-workers about your boss, your workload or how things are just unfair?

Today, take a moment and make a shift in your thinking. Focus on what is working. When your mind begins to wander away from this thinking, again, remind yourself and ask yourself, "what's working." This simple shift can produce tremendous results.

The next item to add to this is asking yourself to come up with 3 things that you are grateful for. When we are grateful for even the smallest of things, people or deeds, it creates a space to welcome more blessings into your life.

Feel free to leave comments below on what's working for you and the 3 things that your most grateful for at this moment.

I am grateful for everything.

Everything that happened and is happening in my life, I asked for.

The universe is truly listening to my every thought, how amazing.

I asked for children and now I have 2 simply amazing and magical sons of my dreams.

I asked for the opportunity to be a stay at home mom and be the one to raise my own children and work from home, that is what I’ve been blessed with for the past 4 years.

I asked for a writing gig and I was offered my own column on Culture/Life with an online magazine.

My house is full of candles, plants, love, and money is everywhere.

I won the lottery and happy as a bee.

Thank you great universe giving me my king, and reuniting me with my soulmate HMKNS.

I can fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes and it feels truly amazing.

Life is exactly how I had imagined it to be and is getting better and better everyday

Philippians 4:8, "Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse."

I am thankful for life, my ability to love, and my God's daily encouragement.

Thanks Ken for your daily words of wisdom which constantly reminds me to be a better person.

I am grateful for

1. This daily email from Ken. Many times it has changed the day for me and those around me.

2. The new, incredible relationships I have with my boyfriend's daughters that I thought would never come.

3. Employment and the choices it provides. Every day it's like going to a mental gym where I have frequent opportunities to build and tone my spiritual muscles.

4. My health, my love, my families
