According to Amit Goswami, author of Quantum Creativity, creativity is a discontinuous, nonalgorithmic quantum jump from one pattern of thinking into a completely new one. It is a quantum leap - from one pattern to another without progressing through incremental steps in between. All the great creative advances in the worlds of art, music, architecture, or science represent new leaps of imagination that could not have been predicted on the basis of the prevailing patterns. Once the creative leap is made, be it Einstein's theory of relativity, Picasso's cubism, or music by the Beatles, the world is forever changed.
You are by nature a creative being, although you may no longer think of yourself this way. As a child you had a rich imagination, which is the source of all creativity. Your youthful flexibility and present-moment awareness allowed for new perceptions and interpretations on an ongoing basis.
You were capable of creating entire worlds with your imagination, whether it was building sand castles at the beach or playing with your make-believe family of dolls. Today, the very fact that you are alive is evidence of your creativity, for you are co-creating your reality every moment. You are creating a new body/ mind with every impulse of experience and every breath you take.
Learn to reawaken your creative response and you will recapture the energy and enthusiasm of youth. In addition to helping you grow younger, the creative process can be applied to healing relationships, the arts, and business.

For all intents and purposes, what you actively imagine is authentically and undeniably already here, so you can absolutely change from self-defeating excuses to self-enhancing actions. Once your new thinking habits are truly in place, it's the same as saying that you're already actualizing what you want.
When I was in my early 20s, I used the imagination practice on the excuse
"I'm too tired." I'd heard this so frequently that it finally became a mind virus I mimicked and employed regularly. It was a convenient but debilitating excuse, because thinking and talking about how tired I was
made me more fatigued than I actually was. The more I said the words I'm tired, the more my energy seemed to be depleted, even when there were no physical reasons behind this.
One morning after listening to a friend tell me that he was too exhausted to carry out a planned weekend retreat, I decided to end my use of this excuse permanently. I pledged to never again tell others (or myself) how tired I was, and
I began to imagine myself in possession of unlimited energy.
I didn't change my sleep habits, take energy supplements or change my lifestyle - all I did was imagine myself as a high-energy person. I was able to change the way I viewed myself in relationship to fatigue and started to see myself as a never-tired person. This all started with a new thought, which was placed first in my imagination. And to this day, some 40 years later, I've steadfastly refused to even think
I'm tired.
One of Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays includes a line that has always made an impact on me: "
Imagination is a very high sort of seeing." To me, this is seeing with a capital S. Seeing myself with boundless energy all those years ago allowed me to eliminate the obstacles of fatigue and energy depletion, and I created a new me in those imaginative moments.
What thoughts can you start to incorporate now that will make a positive change your in life, beliefs and energy?

If you need to use your mind for a specific purpose, use it in conjunction with your inner body. Only if you are able to be conscious without thought can you use your mind creaticely, and the easiest way to enter that state is through your body.
Whenever an answer, a solution, or a creative idea is needed, stop thinking for a moment by focusing attention on your inner energy field. Become aware of the stillness. When you resume thinking, it will be fresh and creative. in any thought activity, make it a habit to go back and forth every few minutes or so between thinking and an inner kind of listening, an inner stillness. We could say: don't just think with your head, think with your whole body.
