Question: My husband and I are thinking of buying a property that is on a corner shaped lot. The front is the wide part of the triangle. The back of the lot is the point of the triangle. I've been told this lot shape limits one's future/prospects.
This is a classic description of a dust pan shape. Meaning that the front of the lot is wider than the back of the lot. This represents that you'll not be able to hold on to or accumulate wealth at this location because everything runs out.
The ideal lot shape is that of a coin purse or money bag meaning that the front is narrow and the back of the lot is wider.

When in direct line of the door with your feet pointing toward the door can be referred to as the 'coffin position.' This is only because viewing of the deceased would have this type of set-up.
When setting up your bed in the bedroom, place your bed one of the three command positions as shown below. When you are in a command position, you are not in direct line of the door or the flow of chi.

If a person is in direct line of the door with feet pointing at the door, this can cause foot problems as the line of energy first hits the feet. And it may cause other side effects as you never want to be in direct line of the oncoming energy.
In an office environment, when a person is in directly line of the door or a long hallway, this position usually has a high turn-over rate and is the first to be let go or to move on.

The short answer is yes. Keep in mind that the true objective of Feng Shui is to harness the Chi of the local
environment to support us in our goals and desires. It is a science and
practice of looking at the quality of a person's life by looking at
their living environment and seeking to improve that quality of life by
tapping into the natural energies or Chi in that environment. This can have an impact on gaining new opportunities and being able to take advantage of them as they arise. Although everyone wants to improve their finances and and make more money, the first thing to review and improve is overall health and happiness. If you don't have those two items, the improvement in finances may be wasted.

Feng Shui in Chinese means wind and water. However, this term is roughly only 100 years old. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was referred to as 'the secrets of the heavens.'
The practice of Feng Shui can be traced back over 1,500 years ago and was used primarily for the selection of burial sites. Feng Shui is the science of understanding and observing the living environment to assess the potential and possible outcomes for a person living in a space.
A simple line from one of the foremost books on Feng Shui, the Burial Book, states "Chi is dispersed by the Wind and gathers at the boundaries of the Water." This simple line begins to describe the nature of water and how it plays a role in accumulating, collecting and gathering Chi.
The true objective of Feng Shui is to harness the Chi of the local environment to support us in our goals and desires. It is a science and practice of looking at the quality of a person's life by looking at their living environment and seeking to improve that quality of life by tapping into the natural energies or Chi in that environment. As the Yang part of Feng Shui, it's roles relates to activate, circulate and move the Chi.
As a result, it is a practice of living in harmony with your environment to
produce tangible results naturally. It involves the intuitive, aesthetic adjustment of visible and
invisible objects or factors, realigning all dimensions of the environment into a
balanced, harmonious state.

The quick answer is that you don't want anything blocking your front door so that you're able to take advantage of chi circulating through your home so that you will be able to receive abundance, health and opportunities. This is very important for a business as well. Many times there may a tree, pillar or other obstruction in front of the door and I usually recommend moving or attempting to lessen the obstruction.
One example of purposely placing an object in the line of fire can be seen at Trump International on Columbus Circle in New York City.
With that said, there are certain situations where it may be good to have an obstruction in front of your door or space and that would be if a road or fast moving body of water were pointing directly at your front door. In this case, you would want to have something to deflect that merciless chi from impacting your structure.

In Feng Shui, the colors you choose to wear as part of your wardrobe can complement certain professions. In doing so, the complimenting color choices can enhance your career.
For those that are a professional massage therapist or provide therapeutic massage services, I would suggest the color green, white or black.
My number one choice would be the color green as this can help your customers and clients calm done or can be viewed as liveliness or healing, nurturing energy. White can help to maintain peace of mind. Black may be worn to provoke knowledge, depth and seriousness. It would be best to try and
avoid bright colors as these can be distracting and will stimulate the heart and the mind.

Light bulbs in a business should always be replaced as soon as they burn out. When the bulbs are not working, this can mean that you will argue with your customers.
It also represents how you are nurturing and taking care of the business. Have you ever noticed that when you walk into a store or business and notice light bulbs burned out or not working what type of feeling or experience it provides? Usually, it is never a positive one.
I personally like to use full spectrum lighting whenever possible. Full spectrum light bulbs mimic the sun's natural light and can provide energy rather than take away your energy and make you feel fatigued.

It is best practice to have the parents located in the back half of the house or home (relationship area) with the children located in the front half. Those that are positioned in the back half of the house will be in control. Based on what you have described, your son will now be in control of the house and be ruling the nest.
I would recommend that you keep the master bedroom and the command position so that you can take care of yourselves and your son. When moving yourself to the front of the house (helpful people area), you are taking away your own ability to be in control of the living situation.
When moving to a new room, the first and most important item to consider is the proper placement of the bed. I would then make sure that you have a bed with an attached headboard made of wood or fabric that is touching the wall. And you should have enough space to walk around both sides of the bed. When one side of the bed is up against a wall, this can have an impact on your relationship or your public life.

Question: How i mean is - the door and an opposite window are like the vertical
line of a plus sign & the bed is the horizontal line, also there is
a window opposite the foot of the bed.
2nd question: Is it "Blocking" to have a couch under a front picture
window ( facing inwards ) ? Ought the couch not be against an opposite
wall FACING the picture window?

Great question. The first thing you will want to do for the bed and the
bedroom is to make sure that your
bed is in a command position.
Having the bed in a command position can have a positive impact on
your career, health, wealth, sleep and overall well-being. Regarding the window at your feet, it is most
important to be in a command position and the other items such as
having a window across from your feet,
clearing clutter, and
bedroom colors are secondary.
The command position can also be applied to living room furniture. You
don't want to be in a direct line of the door as this will create an
uncomfortable feeling when sitting in that location. Always best if you
have a view of the entrance but not be in direct line of the door.

There are many different factors that could attribute to business
difficulties. There is the mundane such as marketing, lead generation,
customer service, economy, client retention, referrals, etc. Then there
is the transcendental or energetic side.
Without seeing the place or having a better understanding of the
situation, it is difficult to make a proper assement and provide the
best remedy or suggestions.
I find that when I work with many businesses that are declining or
stuck, they they do not have any life energy in the space. I would
consider introducing plants, flowers and the potential of water
features.
I once consulted for a business where the CEO had a dead plant in the
wealth corner of his office along with a a variety of other things. Now they
have a plant service and business is booming. Not to say that removing
the dead plant and adding a plant service caused the turn around but if
you ask the CEO, there is no way that he will go back to the old way.
